Flor de la Amazonía Animal Rescue Center

Hallo Weltenretter,
E-Mail:
Dear Friends,
We have had a very encouraging response to our recent e-mail outlining our current difficulties – many, many thanks to all those who have sent messages of support and donations. They are very much appreciated and have touched our hearts greatly. We will be keeping a close record of how this money is spent and will let everyone have a copy of this.
However, due to pressure from some of the family members, I have had to leave the Centre and am now based in Puyo with some of the volunteers from the project, but there is still a core group supporting the animals at the Centre at the moment.
There have been over 300 volunteers supporting the work of the Centre since it opened. If everyone was able to support us now, with $5.00 or $10.00, if you are able, then we should be in a position to start releasing the animals that are ready to be released. It is estimated that it may cost us up to $4000 to fly even a small group of animals in to the Yasuni National Park where we are working with the Earth Sessions Group and the local community.. We have other plans that we are working on to support the animals in our care, also.(The Paypal button is now on our website.)
I am sorry to have to ask for help again, and I hope that you do not feel that I am hassling, but we feel that this is an opportunity to be grasped, and we are working hard to ensure the best possible future for the animals in our care.
Below is the Newsletter (No 3) that was to have been sent out before these difficulties arose to the extent that they have. Apologies to those of you who may have received it already, and I hope it is of interest.
Many thanks again for your support,
Very best wishes
Gloudina
