The Outlook for Someday, der neuseeländische Filmwettbewerb für Jugendliche zum Thema „Nachhaltigkeit“, ging 2007 zum ersten Mal an den Start. 2008 wurden Jugendliche gefragt: „Welche Bedeutung hat Nachhaltigkeit für die Welt und für euch? Welche Bedeutung hat sie für eure Kommune oder für eure nächste Umgebung? Was möchtet ihr anderen darüber mitteilen?“ Teilnehmen konnten alle, die noch nicht 20 waren. Ihre Filme konnten aus allen möglichen Sparten stammen und sollten nicht länger als 5 Minuten dauern.
Mr Box ist von dem 14-Jährigen Calvin Sang. Der Film gewann für seine herausragende kreative/technische Qualität den „Spezialpreis für besondere filmische Leistungen“. Es handelt sich um eine einfach Trickfilmgeschichte, die zeigt, wie sich das städtische Umfeld auf unsere seelische Gesundheit auswirken kann.

The Outlook for Someday sustainability film challenge for young people began in New Zealand in 2007. In 2008 young people were asked “What does sustainability mean for the world and for you? What does it mean for your community or neighbourhood? What do you want to say about it?” Anyone up to the age of 20 could enter. Their films could be any genre at all and any length up to 5 minutes. ‘Mr Box’ was made by Calvin Sang, aged 14. It won the Film-making Achievement Special Award for a film with outstanding creative / technical quality.
